Is the preview really free?
Yes. You can create and hear the opening of your personalized song before deciding whether to unlock the complete track. The 15-second excerpt is cut directly from that same finished file; checkout does not trigger a different version.
How long is the finished song?
We compose toward roughly two and a half minutes, with an opening, two distinct verses, a recurring chorus, a bridge, and a resolved ending. Exact length can vary slightly because the music is allowed to breathe rather than being stretched to fill a timer.
What makes the answers useful?
Specific scenes beat a long biography. “She is generous” is hard to sing memorably; “she leaves coffee outside my office before the early shift” gives the lyric an image. We ask separate questions so the verses, chorus, and bridge can each draw from different material instead of repeating themselves.
What happens to my answers?
Each answer is given a job. The beginning guides the first verse, your small moments give the second verse its pictures, and the thought you want to leave behind shapes the ending. This keeps the song moving instead of repeating one detail in different words.
Can I request a specific famous artist?
We create original music and cannot copy a living artist’s voice or signature style. Choose a broad genre, pace, and emotional direction instead. Originality protects the person receiving the song as well as the artists who inspired you.
Will my story be public, and how long is it kept?
No. Your answers, lyrics, and preview are not placed in a public gallery. Unpurchased songs are scheduled for deletion after seven days; purchased files are retained for at least 30 days so we can help recover a download. You can request earlier deletion through Support. Please still avoid highly sensitive information.
What do I receive?
A complete original vocal song delivered as a downloadable MP3, plus a text copy of its lyrics, immediately after Stripe confirms payment. It is for personal, non-exclusive use: keep it, send it privately, play it at the celebration, and make it part of the memory.
Can I change a lyric afterward?
Yes. A purchase includes one lyric revision. After checkout, edit the lyrics by section and create a revised recording. The original remains saved, and you can switch between both versions before downloading. We preserve untouched sections whenever the recording supports section editing.
What if checkout or the download fails?
Payment is handled on Stripe’s hosted checkout. If a confirmed order does not unlock or the MP3 is corrupt, send the checkout reference through Support within seven days. We will restore the file, replace it, or issue an eligible refund when we cannot fix delivery.
